Go Around Bali Tours: Festive temple ceremony

Valentine day has gone away, leaving a very good memory among those who celebrated it. To Balinese, it seems that a special day never ends. Not long after one special day passed, another will come in two or three days. What an amazing experience for tourists to get involved in one of the upcoming temple ceremony which falls on Wednesday, February 19’ 2014. Balinese called Budha Cemeng Klawu; it falls once every six months based on Balinese calendar. Lots of ceremonies will take place in house-temples of the village even though in another village there might be ceremony in the village temple. Go Around Bali Tours is inviting you to see and understand more of what the Balinese people are doing during the ceremony. Every ceremony means so much to us (Balinese); therefore, we never miss it and really wanted your present to be among us.

Gong Xi Fa Cai & Valentine Day

Chinese New Year has gone by so quickly. Tourists from China were filling up the island and sharing joy with ‘Ang Pao’. They seemed very happy when Balinese greeted them by saying ‘Gong Xi Fa Cai’. I felt that experience once meeting with a Chinese guest staying in Ubud. I asked him some questions about his coming to Bali and took him to some of the interesting places in Bali. He said that it was a special holiday to him as it was his fist time celebrating Chinese New Year in Bali and so amazed with nature of Bali. We went around Ubud, looking closer to Monkey Forest, the Ubud Market, and seeing some dance performances.

After the Chinese New Year, there will be another auspicious day for fellow human being which is just a couple of days to go. Yes, that is a day of love ‘Valentine Day’, 14th February 2014. This year, Go Around Bali Tours offer a special day trip to some interesting places in Bali. Here are some places for your recommendation: (1) Morning Dance Performance, (2) Silver Smith at Celuk, (3) seeing an old Balinese house, (4) Bali Safari & Marine Park including lunch with lions, (5) Spring Water Temple, (6) Tegallalang Rice Terrace, (7) Romantic Dinner in a restaurant in Ubud.

Going Chilly

Driving up further north, reaching Kintamani where the weather is so cool. The sun shone so bright and the weather was nice. Taking pictures were absolutely perfect. Standing up at Penelokan, looking down to the lake Batur was so amazing. It felt like not to want those images left behind. Hoping to come back again soon.
